Financial Aid Information

East Meadow Soccer Club (EMSC) offers need-based financial aid on an annual basis to help families offset some of their club fees. EMSC has limited funds available for these needs, and the amount offered will depend on the amount available each year.

PLEASE INCLUDE THE PLAYER(S) NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH IN THE SUBJECT LINE AS WELL AS INSIDE THE MESSAGE OF ALL EMAILS.

The Deadline For Applications – The club must receive all completed documentation prior to September 15th of the season you are applying for aid for and must include your most recent 1040 Tax Return form(s).

ALL PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE CLUB FOR THE SEASON THAT THEY ARE APPLYING FOR PRIOR TO SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION.

All decisions made by the financial aid committee are final and decision's on a financial aid award (if any) will be communicated by the end of the calender year for which financial aid was applied for.  Any award given will be applied towards final payment(s) of club fee's for the soccer season that is most current.

For players that were with East Meadow in the prior season the Board will ask the Coaches:

  • Was player's attendance regular and punctual at training and games?
  • Do parents willingly volunteer for team and club commitments?
  • Is the family in good financial standing with the team and team fund?

In order to be eligible for financial aid, all applicants must be in good financial standing with the club and their team.

All Financial Award recipients are still responsible for paying any uniform, club, coaching, or team fee expenses not covered by the aid award.

Please note, under certain circumstances financial aid may be available after the indicated deadline (if funds are still available), for inquiries about the possibilities of aid after the deadline please contact financialaid@eastmeadowsoccer.com

 In order to be considered for financial aid, applicants must complete all of the following:

  1. Complete the application in its entirety and email to financialaid@eastmeadowsoccer.com
  2. Applicants must be registered with East Meadow Soccer Club and be current in all registration and team fees, prior to sending in the application for financial aid. 
  3. All applicants MUST email a copy of their most recent Federal Tax Return pages 1 and 2 (form 1040) to financialaid@eastmeadowsoccer.com (PLEASE black out all Social Security Numbers before submitting) AND any/all most recent W2's (or any other yearly personal/family income statements) even if these amounts are already stated on your tax return. 

Applications will be reviewed by the East Meadow Board of Directors - Financial Aid Committee, and all information will be kept confidential. No information will be shared with your head coach, team manager, or any member of the team, so please do not contact your coach or manager to inquire about your eligibility. 

Should you be approved for financial aid you will be required to volunteer approx 10 hours of time to one of The East Meadow Winter Indoor tournaments.
