Growing up in Hempstead, NY , Coach Nixon was part of the Hempstead Eoc Youth System. Attending Uniondale High School, He won All-Conference and All-County honors including defensive player of the year in 2013 for Conference AA his senior year. Moving into college , Coach Nixon, graduated from Nassau Community College with a degree in Liberal Arts while helping NCC make it to the Finals in the National Championship tournament in 2016 and 2018. 

Coach Nixon believes in a system where youth of all ages and backgrounds should have an opportunity to showcase their talents and skills despite their upbringings. Playing soccer as a child builds character and confidence in the individual. It also prepares children for life and teaches them to work in a group environment while facing challenges head on. He believes in a "NEVER GIVE UP" attitude and building strong leaders on and off the field.
