EMSC College Scholarships

The East Meadow Soccer Club known for its generosity and community commitments presented three college bound players with scholarships in a small ceremony that was held at the East Meadow Field of Dreams.

The East Meadow Board of Directors were genuinely happy to present a scholarship to Mary Hajazi, who will be attending Manhattan College, Lissy Falzarano who will be attending Dominica College, and Madison Young who will be attending Penn State University with a $500.00 scholarship each as a token of recognition to help them on their way.

All three young ladies came up through the intramural program at EMSC and worked hard to become the amazing soccer players that they are today. Mary Hajazi played on the EM Express a Premier/Northeast Regional Premier and Region 1 Premier team and one of the East Meadow Soccer Club’s first ECNL teams.. Lissy Falzarano and Madison Young played on the EM Freedom, who went all they way up to Division 1 and then North East Regional Premier. The EMSC is very proud of their accomplishments as soccer players as well as their accomplishments academically and personally. We wish them all the best in their very bright futures.

On hand to present these college bound players with their scholarships was EMSC President, Eric Schwartz, Vice President Tom Alio  and the players parents and coaches of the East Meadow Soccer Club. Well done, Mary, Lissy and Madison!!
