Virginia - Northern Development ODP Coaching Coordinator: He supervised staff and player development in six age groups, ranging from under-13 to under-18. Previously, Franzke coached at the district level for two seasons.

College Highlights:
A Long Island talent, Franzke represented the US Olympic Festival – East Team 1989, 1990 and played soccer at George Mason University under Gordon Bradley, Head Coach.
Franzke was a member of two NCAA Tournament teams (1989 and 1990) after helping lead the Patriots to a 1989 CAA Championship. A four-year starter, Franzke was a 1992 All-Virginia selection in addition to being named All-CAA First Team his final two seasons. Franzke started all 80 games he appeared in and ties for seventh on the all-time career list for games played. Prior to his collegiate career, Franzke was a 1989 High School Parade All-American recipient.
