fifteen locations on more then 50 fields, making it the largest soccer
tournament in New York State and one of the largest in the northeast
region. We are pleased to once again have teams from several states and
as far away as Canada!
You can view the Schedules by clicking on the "Schedules" link on the
left side of this page.
Registration is mandatory for all teams and will take place on Friday,
August 28, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Maple Avenue
Fireman's Benevolent Hall located at 170 Maple Avenue in East Meadow.
Directions can be found on the tournament website under field maps. All
teams, including out of town teams must attend. Any specific questions
concerning registration should be addressed to the boys or girls
registrar whose contact information can also be found on the bottom of
this page. Your failure to prepare is not our emergency. Teams not in
compliance with registration requirements or players that do not have
the appropriate paperwork (e.g. approved guest player forms) will not
be allowed to participate.
Travel teams must bring medical releases (your own club's forms are
acceptable), travel passes for each player, including guest players (if
you do not have your passes back from your registrar then you may use
an official league roster), and a properly executed guest player form
for each guest player (a limit of 5 guest players for U12 and older and
a limit of 3 guest players for U11 and younger). Please make sure that
guest player forms are approved by LIJSL or your host league if you do
not play in LIJSL. Any intramural teams or travel teams using
intramural players must have birth certificates, medical releases and
an intramural player form (which can be downloaded from our tournament
website) or a letter signed by your club registrar or President
confirming that the player(s) is (are) registered with that club.
In addition, NEW FOR THIS YEAR, teams must enter their roster on line.
You can do this by going on the internet to
https://www.gotsport.com/asp/teams/ after
signing in with your user
name and password you can click on roster and enter your information.
You must also bring 2 hard copies of your roster (you may bring a
copy
of your official team roster for us to keep or you may use the form
that can be downloaded from the tournament website). One copy will be
stamped and returned to you for you to produce at the fields. You must
also have your player and coach’s passes at every game and you may be
called upon to produce them.
We will be selling a limited number of tournament t-shirts for $10 a
shirt (short sleeved). These may be pre-purchased at the discounted
